Add Knowledge Porridge to your AI.

Knowledge Porridge is a remote MCP server. Add it once as a connector, sign in with your email, and your AI can read and update your learning map.

Claude (web and desktop)

  1. Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Knowledge Porridge and paste https://knowledgeporridge.ai/mcp.
  3. Click Connect, sign in with your email, and allow access.
  4. In a chat, make sure Knowledge Porridge is switched on in the tools menu.

ChatGPT

  1. In Settings, open the connectors (apps) section and turn on developer mode under the advanced settings.
  2. Create a new connector: name Knowledge Porridge, server URL https://knowledgeporridge.ai/mcp, authentication OAuth.
  3. Sign in with your email and allow access, then enable it in a chat.

Menu names change between app versions; look for "connectors", "apps" or "MCP".

Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code and other clients

Then run /mcp in Claude Code to sign in.

Questions about connecting

Do I need a paid AI plan?

That depends on your AI provider: some offer custom connectors (remote MCP servers) only on certain plans. Knowledge Porridge itself is free while in beta.

What does my AI send to Knowledge Porridge?

Only what its tool calls contain: your answers, the terms on your self-map, your whys and notes. Never your conversation.

How do I disconnect?

Remove the connector in your AI's settings, or revoke it under Account → AI connections in the web app. Deleting your account revokes every connection.

Can I use more than one AI?

Yes. Connect as many as you like with the same email; they all read and update the same map.
