Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Knowledge Porridge (the website, the web app and the MCP server at https://knowledgeporridge.ai/mcp), operated by Alexander Isaev, Data Alchemy Labs (dataalchemylabs.com). By using the service you agree to them.
1. The service
Knowledge Porridge keeps a map of what you know about a field, places you with questions, finds gaps and schedules retests. The teaching itself happens in an AI assistant you choose and connect. The service is in beta and free of charge. Features may change, and we'll give notice before introducing any paid plan; nothing you already use for free will start costing money without your agreement.
2. Your account
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. Keep access to that email secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You must be at least 16. One person per account.
3. Your content
Your whys, notes, answers and progress belong to you. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service. You can export or delete them at any time from your account.
4. Your AI assistant
Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants are third-party services under their own terms. When you connect one, you authorize it to read and update your Knowledge Porridge data through our tools, and you can revoke that at any time. We don't control what your AI says; explanations it gives you may be wrong.
5. Learning content
Our maps and questions are built from published sources and checked, but they are educational material, not professional, financial, legal or investment advice. Use your own judgement before acting on anything you learn.
6. Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law, attack or overload it, access other people's data, scrape it at scale, or resell it. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service running but don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may change or discontinue features; if we shut the service down, we'll give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
8. Liability
The service is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on what you learn. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, and mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
9. Ending your use
You can stop at any time and delete your account from the app. We may end these terms if you breach them.
10. Changes to these terms
We'll post changes here and, for significant changes, tell you by email before they take effect.
